Thailand with kids
Thailand with kids? Time for a new trip: 3 weeks travelling Thailand, YES!! I absolutely love it to visit the sun when it’s cold, wet wintery weather back home. This will be our first trip with 2 kids instead of 1. Lotte is 7 months (Floris’s age when we visited the USA), Floris 2 years. Therefore Floris has his own seat during the flight, Lotte will be travelling on our lap. We have made a reservation for a baby basket, to make sure Lotte can relax in a little cradle during the flight as well.
Out travel plan starts in Bangkok for a couple of days. We booked a hotel room with a separate bedroom and a kitchen. From Bangkok we will take the train to the south of Thailand, making some stops on the way. Finally we will board the ferry to Koh Samui were we will stay for a week before flying back to Bangkok. We will spend the night in Bangkok before flying back to Amsterdam. Sounds like an amazing trip, right?!
A good preparation makes your trip way easier. Therefore I start early.
Things to check before you go:

*Travelling with a baby, make sure you make a reservation for a baby basket in advance
Of course you need a thorough packing list as well. What should definitely be in your suitcase:

*Ipad containing videos and games for the kids
*Spare clothes
In the big American style supermarkets you can get everything you need for your baby/ kids: baby food, diapers, wet baby towels and so on. To be sure I took my own baby milk powder with me as Lotte can be quite picky. I did bring some swim diapers as we wanted to be able to take a refreshing dive straight away.
There are lots of nice books available for the kids with stories about flying and travelling abroad. I ordered Floris one, a story about a little girl visiting Thailand. He absolutely loved it!
After this prep we are ready to take off.. of we go to Thailand with kids.
