15 Days to go
After waiting so long we are almost there: our trip to New Zealand with kids! Only two weeks before we go, I begin to feel some sort of holiday stress. I need to finish the last things at work and have to pack lots of stuff. I am wondering if you can really “work ahead” at work. I guess you can’t, trying it all the time drives me crazy. Time for a to do list: work and home. Before we go I definitely need to get an international driver’s license, check our passports and other official documents, print all our travel documents and START PACKING. Tomorrow I will, really promised, start packing. The kids are already counting down the days for weeks. I start now as well. New Zealand we are almost coming to visit you!
7 Days to go
Woehoeee only 7 days to go before our journey to New Zealand with kids!! We made this plan over a year ago, can’t imagine it’s almost going to happen. The kids are already fighting on who is going to sit where in the plain. As we are flying many many hours and four stretches, we have plenty of time to sit switch seats 😉 .
Ready to go!
Today was my last day at the office. I worked my way through my mailbox, answering all my last emails, emptied my mailbox to make room for all the incoming mails during my holidays and turned on my out of office reply. To do list “work” completed! All our luggage is packed now. Tomorrow I have a day off before we leave to get some last things done. The kids will be at my parents tomorrow giving me space to do all “last things” and start our holiday relaxed. Our flight departs Friday at 2:00PM , we arrive Sunday at 6:00AM. I just made a reservation for our transportation from the airport in Auckland to the hotel. I will be writing my next blog from New Zealand! Can’t want to start this amazing journey to New Zealand with kids!

Tips & Tricks New Zealand with kids
If it’s important for you to stay on the campground of your first choice: book months ahead.
Do you always pack to much luggage? Make a pack list , and stick to it.
Pack your clothes per set: for example, 1 pair of shorts with two t-shirts, check if you have
matching shoes. You don’t pack too much, what you bring will match.
