I love to travel! Dreaming of where to go, looking for the best tickets, deciding on our travel plan and booking our accommodations, I love it all. My holiday starts the moment I set foot in the airport; browsing the shops, enjoy some thing to eat, read a book, I relax instantly. Upon arrival at my destination I totally absorb my new surroundings enjoying everything to the max.
To me it has never been the question if we would travel with the kids. The real question was, when are we going to travel with the kids? Luckily to us our kids seem to love travelling as much as we do. Still there are lots of parents who love to travel, but don’t dare to actually do it. I give you 5 reasons why you shouldn’t doubt, book your trip and explore the world together with your children.

What is more enjoyable than travelling? Travelling together! Experiencing new countries together, making beautiful memories that stay with you for the rest of your life. Its amazing to talk about everything you have seen and done at the end of a busy travel day, listening to your kids stories and the way they experienced the day.
3. Quality time
We both have a fulltime job and a busy social life. Therefore it’s even more important to have quality time with the four of us, our little family. A weekend break or 3 week holiday abroad is 100% quality time with each other. We have all the time to relax, play with the kids and enjoy each other’s company. Its beautiful to see how fast our kids develop when you are with them 24/7 for a couple of weeks.

Make their world bigger
By travelling you actually make your children’s world bigger. Its an important experiences for them to see with their own eyes elephants don’t only live in zoos, children in other countries don’t have toys to play with and values and manners differ from their homeland. This experience is very valuable and helps them for the rest of their lives.

Its makes YOU happy
Travelling makes me utterly happy. When telling about my travel experiences with this kids, I lots of times hear “You only travel for yourself, your kids don’t care”. Apart from the fact my children like travelling as much as we do, I don’t understand why doing something that makes YOU happy is almost a crime. So….. go, go, go!!
