Yes Las Vegas with kids! There is plenty to do for you and for them. We spend our first nights in Vegas on the camping at Sam&#8217;s Town. The kids love the &#8220;jungle garden&#8221;, waterfall and light show inside the hotel&#8217;s lobby.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">But first, our first night in Vegas didn&#8217;t go totally right. As Lotte tried to push Floris out of their bed the last nights, we made two separate beds for them. Lotte on the table and Floris on the couch. Of course both of them are official beds in our RV. Nevertheless we hear a &#8220;BAM&#8221; in the middle of the night, followed by a shrieking Lotte: she fell out of bed. Apparently so hard, she wasn&#8217;t able to scream, shrieking was the only noise she could make :(. Kevin rushes over to her. She looks ok. Kev calms her down and after a while she falls asleep again. In the morning though, we see her lip is heavily swollen, blood around her mouth and a little stream of blood running down her nose. Hmmmm her nose concerns me a little. We have to fly 18 hours in 3 days. The blood is probably from a regular nose bleed, but we want to know for sure it&#8217;s not coming from anything else.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">We consult the receptionist at Sam&#8217;s Town RV Park, she tells us it&#8217;s wise to visit a GP. When we arrive there around 08:00AM they are still closed. We have our breakfast in the \u00a0RV in the parking and go back again at 09:0AM. The assistant looks at Lotte, asks her age and tells us to visit the ER of the children&#8217;s hospital in Vegas. We get in the RV again and drive over there. I am surprised how fast they help us, totally different to a Dutch ER. Lotte gets some general checks, weight, length, heartbeat, before we see a pediatrician. She examines Lotte and tells us immediately she is fine, except for the torn lip. Good!! Directly after the diagnoses we are discharged and led to the &#8220;cash desk&#8221;. I am totally flabbergasted when I hear we need to pay 1.500USD!! OMG healthcare is so expensive in the USA, now I know why health insurance is such a big issue here. Luckily we are well insured back home, so I swipe our credit card and off we go.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Driving, seeing doctors took up most of our time today. We had imagined other things to do on our first day Las Vegas with kids. To end the day in a happy vibe, we take the free shuttle bus from Sam&#8217;s Town to Fremont Street. Floris needs some time to getting used to all the flashing lights, Lotte is a big fan straight away. After seeing Fremont&#8217;s famous &#8220;ceiling&#8221; Floris is fan as well. Fremont turns out to be a wonderful end\u00a0for a hectic day.<\/p><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Tips &amp; Tricks Las Vegas with kids<\/strong><\/h3><p style=\"text-align: center;\">KOA Sam&#8217;s Town is a perfect RV park when travelling with kids, with a pool, free shuttle bus to Vegas&#8217; highlights and close to the RV drop off stations<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">When travelling to the States, make sure you are well insured for medical cost made abroad<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fremont Street is amazing for kids as well, the older kids can even enjoy the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/vegasexperience.com\/slotzilla-zip-line\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">zip line<\/a>, that makes them actually fly over Fremont Street<\/p><p
