As I wasn\u2019t really impressed by the city last time I visited it, 16 years earlier, I asked myself the question this time: \u201cIs there anything to do in Miami with kids?\u201d And I was happily surprised! Miami has lots to offer. Beautiful art deco buildings, lovely beaches, great food and a relaxed vibe. And there is loads to do for kids too! So here\u2019s a list with the best highlights in Miami with kids:<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Top 6 What to do in Miami with kids?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol><li><h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong> South Beach\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Miami has really nice beaches! Just picture a light blue sea, white beaches and the occasional palm tree. Floris and Lotte were very excited by Miami South Beach. South Beach has lovely white sand but does have a rather rough surf. We had to hold on to the kids firmly when we went into the water. The kids were especially fond of all the little playgrounds just behind the beach where they could play on the slides and swings and climb about.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Entrance fee: free<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol style=\"text-align: left;\" start=\"2\"><li><h4><strong> Key Biscayne<\/strong><\/h4><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Key Biscayne has a lot less surf and is located in a kind of park. The park has loads of parking space (even for campers!) and you can have a barbecue or go for a bicycle ride. There are even special bikes you can rent that you can ride on four at a time. And you can find fun playgrounds here too. There is even a small \u201ccaf\u00e9\u201d where you can sit on the terrace and order a quick bite to eat or a drink. From the beach you have a great view of Miami.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Entrance fee: free<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol style=\"text-align: left;\" start=\"3\"><li><h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.coralgables.com\/index.aspx?page=167rel=\u201dnofollow\u201d\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/rel=\u201dnofollow\u201durl?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.coralgables.com\/index.aspx?page%3D167&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1505372542733000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGqslrNiiNkVohXCLpdIW50s8pkTQ\"><strong>Venetian Pool<\/strong><\/a><\/h4><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Right in the middle of Miami you will find this special \u201cpool\u201d. It\u2019s an historical building with a fantastic lagoon you can swim in. This pool dates back from 1924 and is made entirely out of coral. Unfortunately we discovered last minute that you need to be at least 3 years old to get in (and Lotte was 2 years and 11 months old). But if the kids are 3+ it\u2019s a sure must!<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Entrance fee:<\/em><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Kids starting from: \u00a010 USD<\/em><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Adults starting from: 15 USD<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol style=\"text-align: left;\" start=\"4\"><li><h4><strong> Children\u2019s Museum<\/strong><\/h4><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"text-align: left;\">This special museum is located in Miami too. Kids can do all sorts of stuff here such as crafting, interactive games and loads more. So no \u2018look but don\u2019t touch\u2019 but get busy!<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Entrance fee:<\/em><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Kids starting from: 20 USD (ages 0-1 no charge)<\/em><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Adults starting from: 20 \u00a0USD<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol style=\"text-align: left;\" start=\"5\"><li><h4><strong> Wynwood walls\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Wynwood is a rather special piece of Miami. It\u2019s raw, urban and you will find the Wynwood walls here. This is high level street-art. In this secluded part of Wynwood you can\u00a0 walk through and past warehouses that are transformed into pieces of art by paintings.\u00a0 Floris loved this and wanted his picture taken with every painting.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>Entrance fee: free<\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol style=\"text-align: left;\" start=\"6\"><li><h4><strong> Miami Zoo<\/strong><\/h4><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"text-align: left;\">I\u2019m not a big fan of zoos myself (I\u2019d rather see animals in the wild), but most kids (like ours) love them!
