During our city trip in\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0with kids we had to pay a visit to\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0of course.\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0is the third city, after Paris and Orlando, where we get to enjoy all of the magical wonders Disney has to offer. Floris and Lotte are both huge Disney fans and can\u2019t wait to see their \u201cDisney friends\u201d again.\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0is not as large as Paris\u2019 or Orlando\u2019s Disney parks as it consists of just 1 park. You\u2019ll have plenty of time to explore the park in a day but we thought we\u2019d take our time strolling through the park and stayed there for 2 days. It\u2019s always a bit of a challenge, deciding what the best rides are with Floris of 5 and Lotte of 3 years old. To save you the hassle I\u2019ve made a top 10 list of Lotte and Floris\u2019 favorite attractions in our Top 10 attractions in\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0with kids.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Top 10 attractions of\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0with kids<\/strong><\/h2>\n

1. It’s a small world<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

This is our kids\u2019 favorite attraction by far! Both Flo and Lotte are huge fans of this ride. You sail a boat through the \u2018world\u2019 where you see the Dutch in their clogs, Eskimo\u2019s with fur hats and flamenco dancers in Spain, all singing the same happy \u201cIt\u2019s a small world after all\u2026\u201d tune. We went on this ride not once but twice! And I can tell you, you\u2019ll still be singing the tune on your way back home on the plane\u2026<\/p>\n

2. The many adventures of Winnie the Pooh<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

This attraction takes you on an adventure with the well-known big, sweet cuddly bear. You get onto a cart shaped like a honey jar and off you go into the lives of Winnie the Pooh and his friends. This ride has a fast pass at the entrance. You can get a fast pass along with your admittance pass so you can get on the ride at a reserved time without having to stand in the queue. Using the fastpass certainly recommended when visiting\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0with kids.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong>Fantasy Gardens<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

This is Floris\u2019 and Lotte\u2019s favorite attraction after \u201cIt\u2019s a small world\u201d because here you can meet all of your Disney friends. On the first day Flo and Lotte had their picture taken with Pluto and Piglet and on the second day with Mickey & Minnie and Winnie the Pooh. You get in line and when it\u2019s your turn you can shake hands, give a hug and take pictures.<\/p>\n

4. HongKong\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Railroad<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

This is always fun: riding the train. The train stops at two stations: Fantasyland and Main Street. The benches are put in sideways so everyone has a nice view of the park and all the attractions. We went for a whole round and eventually Lotte fell asleep of course \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

5. Slinky Dog Spin\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Floris loved this attraction in Paris and when he saw \u201cSlinky\u201d in\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0we had to get on of course. It\u2019s similar to the good old \u201ccaterpillar\u201d, you get on and rush around for a few rounds.<\/p>\n

6. Rafts to Tarzan’s Treehouse<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The raft and Tarzan\u2019s treehouse are loads of fun and should certainly not be left out when visiting\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0with kids. You get onto a raft that takes you across the river where you can explore Tarzan\u2019s treehouse. While exploring you can play in Tarzan\u2019s house. Get acquainted with his animal friends, walk over wooden walkways and make music on pots and pans!<\/p>\n

7. Lion King theater, Theater in the wild<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In theme parks we usually don\u2019t visit the shows but seeing as this was the Lion King and we had plenty of time we decided to go. And OMG what a show!! The costumes, singing, dancing, music, lights, everything just worked out perfectly and looked absolutely spectacular! I\u2019m not going to give away too much but if you have a chance to visit this show in Disney: do it!<\/p>\n

8. Jungle River Cruise<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

Another ride you should definitely not miss out on; the Jungle River Cruise! You get onto a boat that\u2019s being steered by a \u201ccaptain\u201d and she (in our case) sails the boat over the river through the jungle. There you\u2019ll see all kinds of animals; elephants standing in the water, gorillas, hippo\u2019s, giraffes and even a couple of less friendly cannibals. The kids loved it! Although Floris did find it a little exciting at the end when a fire was involved.<\/p>\n

9. Mad Hatter Tea Cups<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

Lotte wanted to go on this ride soooo badly, and Kevin and Floris not so much. But Lotte won so we all got into the \u201cdancing\u201d tea cups. Everything spins and turns in every direction. If that\u2019s not enough, you can spin your own cup around by turning the wheel. Lotte loved it but Kev got a little\u00a0nauseous.<\/p>\n

10. Fairy Tale Forest<\/strong><\/h3>\n

An attraction that\u2019s a lot of fun and even the smallest of kids will appreciate! In this \u201cpark\u201d you can walk from fairytale to fairytale. All the fairytales have a fun interactive twist. You can turn cranks, making \u201csomething\u201d happen.<\/p>\n

This was our top 10 attractions in\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Hong\u00a0Kong\u00a0with kids, made entirely by Lotte and Floris themselves. They did have a hard time choosing their favorites and Dumbo the flying elephant, the carrousel and Mickey\u2019s Magic Philharmony did not make this list but are certainly very nice rides for the young ones too.<\/p>\n
